The National Steering Committee for Public-Private Partnership (CNP-PPP)
In Côte d'Ivoire, public-private partnerships (PPPs) are mechanisms whereby a public entity grants a private partner, under a long-term contract, the financing, implementation and/or operation of services or infrastructure traditionally carried out by the government, in return for remuneration linked to performance-based objectives.
The missions of the CNP PPP
In close cooperation with the contracting authorities, their line ministries and the government's financial partners, the CNP-PPP's mission is to:
Promote the development of PPPs in Côte d'Ivoire
Assist contracting authorities in the many stages involved in implementing PPPs
Oversee the PPP research fund
